CURIO POP-UP SHOP

Rebrand.

Curio is an annual pop-up shop that showcases innovative, handcrafted products from students of all trades at Brigham Young University. Each year, the shop’s identity and branding, along with the look and feel of the actual storefront, is developed by the seniors in BYU’s graphic design BFA program. The branding for Curio 2024 embraced values such as vintage, eclectic, and nostalgic by drawing inspiration from wood-block type to create a custom logotype and paper cut-out iconography.

The team used techniques such as screenprinting, glowforging, and riso printing to create a storefront that feels warm and inviting. The storefront also provided a comfortable environment to display the handcrafted treasures sold by the students.
