From the retro-inspired spaces guests explore to the poolside conversations shared over cocktails, each moment at The Pearl Hotel creates a meaningful connection to their brand. The Pearl is more than a boutique hotel; it’s a living embodiment of Point Loma’s timeless charm and the Southern California lifestyle.

The name of the hotel is inspired by the Ama, Japanese women famous for oyster-diving and collecting pearls. To pay homage to their origins, the logo and iconography derive from a Japanese pattern. 

This rebrand represents a commitment to relaxed elegance, authentic experiences, and a community-first spirit. The branding blends mid-century cool and contemporary comfort to create a nostalgic feel to call back to its opening in 1959.
